Service Ministry

Works of Mercy

"Love one another as I have loved you." John 15

Epiphany Parish's Service Ministries are opportunities through which church members can collaborate in living out the Spiritual and Corporeal Works of Mercy among our parish members, in our community and the world at large.

Annulment Assistance

Parish priests, deacons and Tribunal notaries are available to help those who were married in/out of the Church, and are now divorced and seeking an annulment of that marriage. For additional information about this ministry contact the pastor. To initiate a case or ask questions contact  the pastor or parish secretary.  FAQ about annulments in English;   Preguntas sobre el annulmento espanol  For more information visit the official website of the archdiocese:

Bereavement ministry is a special outreach to console and support individuals who are mourning the death of a loved one. Bereavement Ministry also helps the priests plan a special Remembrance Mass for recently deceased members of the parish each November. Contact our Parish Nurse, Lisa Weber, for more information or to volunteer at (309) 452-2585 or Parish Office Email.

Woman's Center

Birthright is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide a center where any pregnant woman will find a loving, non-judgemental environment that supports her decision to carry her child to term. Birthright's positive support and advocacy strive to help the mother mobilize her own resources and those of the community to face the future, and to plan constructively for herself and her child. Education Commission

The Education Commission assists the pastor with regard to catechesis and preparation for sacraments at Epiphany School, to discern formation needs, and to advise the pastor regarding policies and programs to meet those needs. Annually in the spring, parish elections fill the vacancies left by two departing members. Those interested need to be active and supporting members of the parish. Contact the pastor if you wish to be a candidate for service. For more information about the school, see the Epiphany School Website.
