Worship Ministry

Spiritual Life, Liturgy

I rejoiced when they said to me, let us go unto the house of the Lord." Psalm 122

Christian Worship and Spiritual Life (Liturgy, Adoration, Prayer, Devotions) at Epiphany parish relies on the generous involvement of many talented parishioners and their children.

Maybe God is calling you to serve in one of these ministries? Speak with one of our ministers, Sr. Fatima or Fr. Dan after any mass, or leave your name with Lesley in our Parish Store, at the entrance to our church. Thanks!

Adoration (of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist)

Every Friday from 7am to 8pm Epiphany offers parishioners an opportunity to "watch and pray" with Our Lord in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. All our invited. Adorers currently come to the church on Friday and commit to a half hour or one hour time slot. Adorers are always welcome and needed. There are sign up forms in the church. Or you can call the parish office. Hopefully, one day Epiphany will be able to offer adoration of Our Lord 24 hours / seven days a week! But that requires more willing adorers!

Altar Servers

Beautiful Liturgy requires the involvement of many faithful Catholics. Altar Servers provide an important service in the sanctuary helping the priests and deacons lead the Liturgy with all God's people. Children in the third grade and up may serve at Mass. The children must also have made their first communion. Please encourage your children to step forward. A first step would be to introduce you child to Fr. Dan at one of our masses! New volunteers are always welcome to help out at our weekday masses and give it a try!

Children's Liturgies- "Amigos de Jesus"-

"Amigos de Jesus" is held during the 8 am and noon Sunday Mass for children ages three to seven. They gather for their own bible reflection, after receiving a blessing from the priest and then process to the church hall for a short bible reflection. They return to the mass proper in time for the Our Father and the sign of peace. When the priest calls the children forward, you may have your child come forward. If you wish to help as a volunteer, please speak to Sr. Fatima or Fr. Dan.

Choirs - Musicians

New cantors, choir members and instrumentalists are always welcome from the age of 12 and up. Whoever sings, prays twice! All you need is the desire sing God's praise! If you are interested in joining the Choir at any mass, just speak with the musicians before or after mass! Our 10 am English mass is looking to grow and our 7pm Sunday mass is always growing in numbers!

Church Cleaners

Art and Environment ministry oversees most church cleaning, along with our custodian team. We need many volunteers, men and women, who would be willing to collaborate in keeping our facility beautiful and well kept. Contact the parish office to be put on our volunteer list. Or just stop by and let us know when you can help!

Mass Co-ordinators or sacristans help maintain the sacristy and its contents (vestments, vessels, etc.) and assist the priests with each and every celebration. If you would like to assist in this service, regular sacristans are needed at all Masses, weekday, holy day's and Lord's Day. Speak with Fr. Dan.

Ushers help greet and seat parishioners as they enter the church for Lord's Day Masses. They also assist parishioners with disabilities; distribute church bulletins and other materials as requested after Mass; help elderly parishioners from their pews during Communion for an orderly procession; help with collections; and straighten up the Church after all Masses. If you wish to become an usher, speak with Fr. Dan, Sr. Fatima or one of our ushers.
